Holsteiners have powerful hindquarters that allow them to jump very high. They often win medals at the Olympic Games and other major equestrian events. While the average leisure horse is around 155cm tall, Holsteiners are significantly bigger: usually 165175cm. Fun fact Holsteiners and Hanoverians are among the most successful showjumpers.
