Ideal exploration fidget kit, with 7 different metal fidgets that are discreet, quiet and suitble for those that want age appropriate fidgets. We frequently describe it as a sensory fidget expoloritory kit – one that allows you to explore and establish sensory preferences in the range.\nHand selected by an Occupational Therapist to cover a range of sensory preferences, from super soft (caterpillar) to high sensory input (spikey) & everything in between. With the exception of the finger spikey, all are hand crafted in Melbourne.\nWe all have different sensory preferences, what you like and the next person will vary, often dramatically. The idea of the works kit is that it covers a very full range of sensory preferences, so there is always one or often many that tick the box completely for each of us.\nPerfect for working out which ones best suit your needs.\nIncludes…\n\nmagic ball\nsmall DOUBLE loop &\nsmall centipede\nspikey\nthe cog &\nthe hand caterpillar\nmedium chain\n\nKaiko Fidget sensory tools can assist with…\n\nSupporting mental health\nEmotional regulation & sensory input\nFocus & concentration – great study or work tool\nTactile awareness & desensitisation\nHand function improving fine motor, strength & circulation\nActive listening – can increase focus & attention\nReducing unhelpful habits – such as nail biting, tapping, hair twirling, pen clicking & leg bouncing etc.\nSensory seeking substitution – finding a more socially acceptable outlet for sensory preferences\n\nNot suitable for children under three years old due to small parts and choking risk.\nKeeping the fidgets sanitised.- They are fine to wipe , ours regularly go through washing machine, the trick is to wipe excess moisture off them. If left wet/damp (eg in washing machine lol) they can rust in appearance a little but generally does not affect function. wiping with an antibacterial wipe or damp cloth then drying off thoroughly is the key.
